Picture Rail Mouldings
Wooden picture rail mouldings are traditionally used to hang up picture frames with hooks and string in homes or galleries. They not only help you protect the walls but also add a decorative element to any room or hallway. Victorian picture rail mouldings should be fixed around 2 feet below the cornice using a solvent-based adhesive with nails to hold the picture rail in place whilst the adhesive dries. You can paint your traditional wooden picture rails with an eggshell or a gloss paint to match the rest of the decorative woodwork in the room.
