Queen’s Quarter is an opulent geometric wallpaper pattern, taken from a small detail within a much larger scheme of Verrio murals. Its irregular octagons appear as corner vignettes within the Queen’s Drawing Room at Hampton Court Palace, the decoration of which was commissioned by Queen Anne as a grand statement of her royal majesty and imperial power.
